Turtle RCM implements the HL7 FHIR R4 standard and follows the Da Vinci Burden Reduction implementation guides:

  • Documentation Templates & Rules (DTR) - Pre-fills forms with clinical data
  • Prior Authorization Support (PAS) - Submits authorization requests electronically

All patient data is stored with complete clinic isolation - each clinic has its own dedicated database with no data cross-contamination possible.

🛡️ Technical Achievement: Data Safe Harbor

Our Data Safe Harbor module ensures that when AI models need to be trained, all Protected Health Information (PHI) is properly de-identified according to HIPAA Safe Harbor rules:

  • Removes all 18 HIPAA-defined identifiers
  • Tokenizes patient names and locations
  • Anonymizes before any AI training
  • Maintains complete isolation between production and training data
Your clinical data is never used for AI training without proper de-identification.

    • Purpose: Suggest appropriate billing codes
    • Data handling: Uses de-identified training data only
    • Human oversight: Always requires biller approval before submission

  3. Claim Denial Prediction

    • Service: Custom ML model (XGBoost)
    • Purpose: Flag high-risk claims before submission
    • Data handling: Uses de-identified historical claim data
    • Human oversight: Provides warnings only, staff makes final decision
